We are a product of God's handiwork. Several years ago Dave had a good job in radio making a decent salary. Then Dave was saved by God and radio was never the same. Dave's mind was on the LORD and doing His work. Because of being a Christian Dave lost his job. The employer lied and said he left to be a pastor....funny...because now Dave is a pastor, but he wasn't at the time. We moved up north and God continued to work on Dave. God continued to open doors to Dave and make teaching and preaching more of a part of his life and radio less of a part. Soon Dave was totally out of radio...now what do you do? Who wants a white haired 50+ guy who knows a lot and needs a salary to live on...some one who can't live on minimum wage? Years went by...God was continuing to prepare Dave for His work. I don't know how God does what He does. I am just glad that His ways are above our ways. Somehow we always had a roof over our head, food to eat and clothes to wear. He made me to be a kitchen magician for which I am so very thankful. Dave and I are products of God and His goodness. Dave's preparation did not come overnight. Our faith was tested time and time again. But we never lost faith. God...He never failed us and we knew that He that saved us and He had something for us to do, somewhere...we just needed to be patient. Dave got a job...paying minimum wage. So yes, you can live on minimum wage if God is in it! God still provided. We had no insurance, but God kept us healthy and strong. We would be hungry sometimes...but we never starved...God is our provider. I think sometimes God wants to know, while we are in the waiting period of our lives...in the valley..."Do you love Me? Do you trust Me?" God has a purpose for testing our faith. God has a purpose when our faith grows as He tests our faith. He loves my husband and I and He loves you too. If God doesn't answer your prayers or your needs in a day, or a week or a year or several years...don't lose faith. He will. Stay strong in the LORD, trust Him and obey His Word. God's timing is perfect. God is perfect. He will always provide for us according to His will. Always!
