The tsunami that occurred in Japan last year has spread debris some 3000 miles throughout the ocean. The news article I was reading stated that debris could reach the United States in approximately a year. I began to wonder where the debris of our lives will end up when we live contrary to the Word of God.
Young people having sex before marriage, married people having extra-marital relationships, and as a result the innocent children suffer. From each of these ungodly relationships come "debris". Murderous abortions, unwanted children, broken marriages, children who are confused feeling unloved and responsible for their parent's divorce. There is hatred and deceit, lying and cheating, pain and suffering. These are only a few examples of lives lived contrary to the Word of God...where will the debris of these lives end up and how long will it take to reach its destination? Unfortunately, this type of debris never ends. Ask Adam and Eve.
15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 2:15-17
